Social Security – Medicare v. Medical & 2012 Elections

Whenever we see the articles in the Media regarding how to resolve the outrageous expenditures of the Federal Government by those who believe the government should control our way of life, we see the fact, and quite often ignorance, of the different government programs.

As a reminder to all, Social Security and Medicare are paid for by the American worker in order to protect their retirement and well-being after retirement.

Medical is a welfare program to provide health coverage for those who do not or cannot provide their own through work.

Unfortunately, the Medical programs have been abused and continue to be abused by those who do not contribute to the Social Security fund and do not even pay taxes.

Whenever we discuss re-organizing of any of the programs, we must separate the ones provided and paid by the workers like Social Security and Medicare from those programs who are not directly paid by the workers of America.

All plans to reorganize our expenditures should take in consideration that there are different programs and that Social Security and Medicare should be adjusted to provide to those who paid for it a guaranteed protection with retirement income and medical assistance. We should not allow that those funds betransferred to the other entitlements provided as welfare assistance.

I totally agree. Let it not be for welfare. This money was taken from those who work really hard and it should be provided for their pension and medical care.
